Amazing Single-Take Drone Video, Epoxy Locking Miter Joints, and the World's Longest Home Run
Fincky is awesome. I already posted his amazing skateboard-chase video. This cinewhoop video is a bit different. The whole video takes place in one room, and as miraculous as it may seem, this video was shot in a single take!
Fincky also posted a video titled 12 Days in the life of a professional FPV Drone pilot which includes a behind-the-scenes look at how they choreographed this amazing fight scene. You can skip directly to that footage at about 7:20 into the video!
I’m always on the lookout for cool projects I can do that involve my CNC router. Chris Salomone posted a neat project a few weeks ago, and I just might have to use his idea in one of my own projects!
He’s using epoxy to join wood in an interesting way. At first glance, it looks like there are odd-shaped pieces completely missing around the joints. If you look more closely, you’ll see that he cut out interesting shapes at the joints and filled them with clear epoxy resin.
The epoxy holds the miter joints together, and the interesting shapes look really cool!
I am a huge fan of SmarterEveryDay. I usually watch Destin’s videos as soon as he posts them, but I was a little behind this time. My friend Brian Moses actually managed to send me this video before I ever knew it existed. That made me think you guys might be interested in seeing this as well.
I don’t want to give too much away. They built a machine that can swing a baseball bat at a ridiculous speed, calculated the best angle of attack, and pointed a pitching machine at the terrifying baseball bat contraption.
It is awesome. You should watch!
