You can get the Amazon Fire TV Stick at its regular price of $39.99, but they’re throwing in two months of HBO for free. It says HBO costs $14.99 per month, so that’s a savings of about $30.

Some of our favorite shows are on HBO. My wife has been watching Game of Thrones for years, and she’s currently watching Big Little Lies. I just finished watching Veep and Barry–both excellent shows! I’m currently three seasons deep into Boardwalk Empire. For me, these are all worth $15 per month.

I’m a bit jealous. We have various full-size Fire TV and smaller Fire TV Sticks around the house, but none of ours are new enough to include volume buttons on the remote. Adjusting volume is just about the only time I have to reach for the TV remote, so this seems like a simple but awesome upgrade!
